Christmas Party 2012 at Hololio Farm, Clevedon

PQ Blackwell and MILK Books hosted a wonderful Christmas party at the Hololio Farm in Clevedon, Auckland last December 14, 2012. The company rented a bus for a day from Scenic Tours, and it’s about an hour’s ride from our Symonds Street office. What can I say, pretty much first class from start to finish.

When we arrived, I saw an open stable of big and small horses with a shed on the left side and a big open space with well-mowed lawns that stretches as far as the eyes can see.

A big mosaic of colorful tiles permanently welcomes each visitor at the entrance.

We got a chance to pet a beautiful Welsh pony.

Josephine Elworthy, the company’s legal counsel and co-owner of Hololio Farm, showed us the whole property. She said they offer horse and pony riding lessons, and it hosts the annual New Zealand Women’s Polo Open.

My stay at the Hololio Farm was exceptionally good. Seems very high class at first but is indeed a very relaxing atmosphere to have for this summer season.
