Franklin Road Christmas Lights 2012 in Ponsonby

My friends and I walked from Nelson Street to Franklin Road, Ponsonby in Auckland on December 15 to see all the houses fully decorated with Christmas lights. This is a yearly event of the residents on that road, and they are celebrating their 20th anniversary.
Although I missed the opening night event last December 1, I managed to take pictures of a few of the most beautifully decorated and festive houses on the block. Thank goodness most of them still turned the lights on beyond the 11pm nightly switch-off for visitors like us to see them.
