I bought four vouchers through Grabone.co.nz to have lunch at Revive Cafe this month. I had previously featured a few of their recipes from their cookbooks here on my blog, but if you have missed out, no worries. Here’s my version of their recipe for Homemade Muesli or Granola.
They offer vegetarian and vegan fare for everyone. What you will expect when visiting Revive Cafe to partake of their healthy food is that they serve hot meals daily while salad options are changed weekly.
Here are the pics of what I’ve tried so far through the vouchers I purchased:
|Mushroom Stroganoff on Brown Rice with 4C Salad and NZ Herald’s weekly Bite magazine on 5 August 2014.|
|Indian Tofu Vindaloo on Brown Rice with Singapore Spiced Noodles on plastic container for takeaway, with NZ Herald’s weekly TimeOut entertainment issue, on 15 August 2014.|
These meals are so healthy, you will feel full without that awful, heavy feeling. The great thing about the salad on the side is that you can choose to have it with the meal or take it away for a snack or meal later. I’m in no way a full-fledged vegetarian, but there are times I do need to eat vegetarian meals to have a balanced diet.
Revive Cafe also has healthy snacks if you need to have energy for the afternoon. Frooze Balls, Plum Slice, Muesli Cookie, and Brazil Oatie. Yum!
Whether you are a full-fledged vegetarian or just trying some vegetarian food for a change, visit Revive Cafe. Worth every penny.
