This is not the first time I visited Bite Cafe. As it was busy, I positioned myself in a queue, and saw what looked like in the distance the remaining slice of red velvet cake. My heart was saying “Go for it” but decided not to wait. I am trying to remember the reason now why I didn’t stay. Now when I came back to have a slice of it, they didn’t have it for the day. Damn! I told myself.
Anyway, I lingered in front of the counter just trying to decide which one I would like to have as a snack. There were just so many delectable desserts to choose from, can’t decide immediately. That moment, I felt like having all of them in one sitting. I even had to apologize to an older gentleman who was initially waiting for me and so had to let him go to the counter first. Luckily, there was no one else lining up after me, and so I decided to have custard slice. Then the lovely cafe attendant asked if I’d like to have yoghurt with it. Thinking it’s common to offer yoghurt with a sweet filling dessert, and not having tried it yet, I said yes.
The cafe’s interiors are modern, with clean lines and chic furniture. There were two types of furniture used, as you will see in the following photos. It seems that the interiors are fairly new, and this makes for a wonderful ambience when having lunch, brunch or tea.
Here is the custard slice I chose for a snack that afternoon.
Until next time, my friends and readers.
